How Much Yard Space Do I Need to Build a 1-Bedroom Granny Flat?
The ideal yard space for a typical 40m2 1-bedroom granny flat would be a width of 12 metres and 15 metres between the main property and the yard's rear boundary. However, we do not live in an ideal world and we will work with you to find a solution that works if your yard space does not fit the typical parameters.
How Long Will It Take?
Once we're ready with the finished design, which will take into consideration your yard size and local planning regulations, approval and build-time would typically be around 65 days.
